Hot tubs are deceptively hard to remove. They are heavy, they are rigid, they do not come apart on their own, and they are almost always in a backyard with a gate too narrow to get them through. On top of that, most dumps will not take one whole. That combination is why so many of them just sit there for years.

We drain what is left in it, disconnect it, cut the shell down into pieces that can actually be carried out, and haul the whole thing off. Cabinet, shell, cover, pumps, heater and plumbing. Nothing gets left behind the garage.

If the tub is built into a deck or sitting inside a patio enclosure, that is normal. We cut out what has to come out to get it free, and if any decking or framing has to come off in the process we will tell you exactly what that means before we start so there are no surprises when you look at it afterward.

The electrical side matters. Hot tubs usually run on a dedicated 240 volt circuit, and that needs to be disconnected properly rather than just switched off. If it has not been done before we arrive, we will tell you at the walk-through what has to happen first.

What is left is a clean pad, deck or patch of yard. Most people put a fire pit or patio furniture there within a month and wonder why they waited so long.
